About Bar N Ranch In 1997 we purchased 10 breed Brangus cows with calves at their sides. In November of that year the first registered Brangus bull was purchased from Camp Cooley Ranch. This was the beginning of the herd. In the next couple of years 5 registered heifers, 3 Brangus Plus heifers, and one commercial cow were purchased. In the following years additional bulls were purchased from Camp Cooley Ranch to breed to the heifers that were raised on the ranch. Over the years they have sold calves at the local auction barn, bulls for breeding, and Show pens of heifers to local 4H members. Our bulls and heifers are known for being gentle and easy to handle. Currently the base herd consist of 70 mother cows and 3-registered herd bulls.  In 2003 we decided to provide natural beef to our family. Our family and friends have raved about the high quality of the beef. In 2004 we decided to feed out our steers and offer natural beef to the public. |
